Investigation Notes
Present: Carissa, Brandy, Marina, and Ann
Marina: I did a short walk-through before you got here. In the pink curtain bedroom, in the bathroom the meter went up to 1.1. When we went in as a group it was at a .5 or .6. The green curtain bedroom had higher EMF than the white curtain bedroom. Whatever spirit is here is following us all throughout the house. Through questions, it seems to be a male and identified as a friend more than a relative. In the white curtain bedroom, I got a splitting headache that went away.
Carissa: When we first started the walkthrough, I got drawn to the white curtain room immediately. In that room, I felt something, but once everyone got in there, it backed off. It was curious. During that, I was doing EVP, and we had a strange spike on the Wavepad. Not many feelings other than it was circling, and it would walk away when it wanted us to follow it, and then it would follow us. It reminds me of a dance, and that it was leading and we were following.
Ann: Carissa went right into the one room, and I went left into the pink curtain room. On the windowsill and on the left side of the room, the windowsill felt “buzzy”. I didn’t feel anything at first, but when we all went in there, it was kind of like he was playing who you are? Who are you? Who are you? And each time he moved through, we responded differently, a headache, then I would get cold. (Note: The readings spiked while we were here, and he’s following us. It spiked. In the white curtain room, he was bolder. (Marina: I called him a prankster, and the meter went up). We went into the green room, and he was more subdued in there. He preferred the lights off to on. In the living room, he got a kick out of us saying “it’s cocktail time,” and he pinched me on the left elbow; we got spike on the meters when we were talking about it. He seemed to enjoy the banter. He enjoys Marina. And then we went out through the kitchen, but no real activity of EMF. Then we walked out into the music room, and just when we were questioning, he wasn’t in my space so much, but he did respond via readings with eye issues; possibly macular degeneration. He did seem to play more by ear than read music. We did find the electrical hotspots that matched some of the high readings. We went to the banyan tree, and when Marina was talking about the banyan tree, she got readings. I went to the other little tree, and I was getting readings on my EMF. As I have been relating this, he keeps walking between the two of us.
Brandy: I noted that there were chills in the green curtain room. I did try to track the a/c but it did not produce a breeze. The a/c was cooler in the hallway, so was it an odd breeze? While we were setting up for an EVP, a cool breeze passed by me. I thought it was Carissa, but we tested, and it was not. I got to watch and experience the readings and experiences going across the room.
The triage areas are the music room and the back bedroom.
While talking, the REM pods went off (caught on camera).
The second walk-through was quieter. No response with meters or REM pods. There was a draw between the pink and green rooms, where there was a closet. However, in the green curtain room, a walk-in may have come through. It did not work through the equipment at all, though three of us started to rock and feel dizzy. Then, there was the sound of breathing coming from one corner of the room. The meters were tracking the path. Carissa offered her energy just before we started to feel dizzy. She had cold hands (energy draw?) The meters went up when both Ann and Marina felt someone invading their energies. It took multiple requests to get it to back off. It would not use equipment. We had to externalize it – equipment only. Maybe a drop in.
Homeowner discussion: There was an accident in the area where a car jumped the curve and hit the house. The smaller tree was the only one of three that survived.
The green curtain room: The homeowner said that her grandfather stayed here before he passed away. He woke up in the middle of the night, screaming, and went to the hospital, where he died a few days later. He was recovering from pneumonia (might be the heavy breathing), and while he was here in the house, he had a relapse in the middle of the night. The bed was in the same area where he slept.
Charlie: Might have been Charlie. He was a joking individual. He was like a big brother. He used to send cards with funny signatures. The pink curtain room was the homeowner’s room. He died from complications of Parkinson’s. Charlie helped to move the family into the home. He stayed here for a time and then left, then moved back.
Carl: The one with the sideburns was learning guitar. He was also a woodwind expert. He taught the homeowner how to play clarinet in the green room. He could be funny, too.
There was a request to go back into the kitchen to try a session by the coffee pot.
In the kitchen, they put a KII meter and a REM pod by the coffee pot. We were chatting talking about music, and when they started to talk about the different types of jazz performers, the meters started to go off. When one of the members said that she didn’t like jazz, the meter really went off. When she started to talk about her boyfriend who liked jazz, it went up to the red that he liked it. We said goodbye, and it responded.
Homeowner: The funny thing is that in the studio on Friday nights, people would come in to wander out to warm up for band practice for a Friday night session. That started with day 1 when they moved in, and it would go from 9 – 12 and then breakfast. There were nights that her father had to play on a Friday night, and her mother and the homeowner would come out to the kitchen to get a drink; they would hear music playing. But when they went out to see if anyone was playing i the music room, there would be no one there. It might have been her father or a student.
The previous couches were straight, the homeowner was resting on the couch, and she saw two skeletons staring at her. One looked at the other, then turned around and walked away.
Research: We found little in the archives other than the classified ad for the lot in 1951.
